1.1?This specification covers several types of plowable, retroreflective pavement markers for lane marking and delineation. 1.2?Retroreflective markers are intended for nighttime visibility under both wet and dry conditions. 1.3?The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard, except where noted in the document. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. 1.4?The text of this standard references notes and footnotes which provide explanatory material.
