1.1 This specification covers the general requirements for the Type IV Cargo Bed Cover (CBC). The Type IV Cargo Bed Cover is a removable general purpose rigid enclosure for the cargo bed of the M923, 5 Ton Cargo Truck/M1083, 5 Ton Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV)/M1095, 5 Ton MTV Trailer. The CBC provides environmental protection and security for mission equipment and items of general transport.
