1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers the chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical requirements for wrought and annealed or cold-worked and stress-relieved titanium-3aluminum-2.5vanadium alloy (UNS R56320) seamless tubing to be used in the manufacture of surgical implants. See Section for size limitations.

1.2 The values stated in inch pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The SI equivalents in parentheses are for information only.
